Sadler, 63, died at his home in Berlin community June 29. Funeral services were conducted at the Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield with burial in Millfield Cemetery on Saturday, July 1. Charlie lived a quiet life devoting most of his time to his community and church. He served as treasurer and deacon of Millfield Church for many years prior to his death. Pallbearers were B.F. Boothe, Nelson Boykin, Willard Ballard, Steve Boykin, Ray Stephenson, Ashby Brantley, Sr., Ashby Brantley, Jr. and Edgar V. Stephenson.
