Story died late Sunday night at her home after a lingering illness for many months. She was the daughter of the late Giles A.* and Mary Newsome Vick of Southampton County. She was the oldest member of the Barnes Methodist Church, and the W.S.C. Service of the church. Surviving are five sons: Emmett L. Story, and Rufus Edward Story, of Handsom, George L. Story of Roanoke Rapids, W.M. Story of Murfreesboro, and Jesse G. Story, of Newsoms; 16 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; seven great, great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Jo Futrell, of Franklin. Funeral services will be held from the Barnes Methodist Church Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Robert E. Abbott, pastor of Barnes Methodist Church and Rev. R.B. Moore, pastor of the Waverly Methodist Church. Burial will be in Newsoms cemetery. Pallbearers were Edward C. Story, Lawrence B. Story, Jimmy Ray Story, Wallace Story, George Lee Story and Jimmy Story. Annie Bertha (VICK; Mrs. Lewis W.)
