Holland and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton Jr. officiating. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were: William Cross, Harry J. Davis, Wilson Story, Charles Bandy, Pete Dunlow, Lewis Cobb Randy Mumford and David Beale. Story, of 801 Walnut St., died in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Franklin, he was the husband of Mrs. Nellie Cobb Story and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivory Story. He was a retired welder for Union Camp Corp. and a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church and of the Woodmen of the World. Other survivors include a son, Clarence M. Story Jr. of Franklin; a brother, Herman L. Story of Courtland; and a grandchild, Deborah Lynne Story.
