Story, 65, died at his home near Newsoms Monday night at about 6:30. Mr. Story, a well-known farmer of the Newsoms section, was a member of Mt. Horeb M.E. Church. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. V.L. Bryant of Norfolk, Mrs. J.W. Mezelle of Suffolk and Miss Nannie Story of Newsoms; a son, Howard Story, of Newsoms; three sisters, Mrs. N.A. Coggsdale of Newsoms, Mrs. F.B. Goodenow of Newsoms and Mrs. J.L. Lee of Washington; a brother, A.M. Story of Portsmouth; four grandchildren and a number of niece and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock from Mt. Horeb Church by the pastor of the deceased, the Rev. C.F. Moseley, assisted by the Rev. C.P. Cleveland. Burial was made in the church cemetery, pallbearers being Willie, George and Louis Blowe, A.P. and H.W. Porter, J.W. Bryant, J.C. Story and Arthur Fowler. Friends of the family were honorary bearers.
