All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ EMMETT LEE STORY FRANKLIN - Emmett Lee Story, 67, a retired Southampton County farmer, died Tuesday in a Williamsburg hospital after illness of many months. He was the husband of Mrs. Florence Parker Story and a son of Rufus and Mrs. Ella Turner Story. He was a member of Mt. Horeb Methodist Church and a veteran of World War I. Besides his widow, surviving are a son, Jasper Lee Story; a brother Eugene Story, and a sister, Mrs. Paul B. Joyner, all of Franklin. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Robert Abbott of Mt. Horeb Church. Burial was in the Southampton Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ellis Joyner, Jack Story, Sr., Elliott Story, Guy Ross, J.J. Wood, Ruben Story and Bernie John Story.
