All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ HENRY GRADY STORY Henry Grady Story, age 82, a native of Southampton County and formerly of Main Street, Courtland, Va., died Sunday, June 30, 1985 in a Roanoke Hospital. He was former assistant Postmaster of the Town of Courtland, a former Chairman of the Board of Deacons of the Courtland Baptist Church and an Army Veteran of World War II. Survivors include his sister, Miss Louise Story, two brothers, Prentiss L. Story and Hatcher Story, a niece, and several nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, in Riverside Cemetery by Dr. Vander Warner and Rev. Edmund Ellis. The family suggest memorials be made to the Lottie Moon Mission Offering, Courtland Baptist Church. Wright Funeral Home, is handling arrangements.
