He was 76. Mr. Story was a native of Southampton County and was a retired night watchman with the Union Camp Corp. He was a member of the Franklin High Street United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mallie Tinnel Story; four step-daughters, Mary B. Beale of Franklin, Ann C. Kitchen of Courtland, Mary Coleman of Baltimore, Md., and Bessie Mae Fitzgerald of Staunton; three stepsons, Hugh Coleman of Courtland, and Ollie King and Jimmy Coleman, both of Franklin; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service was conducted Monday in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. A.D. Goodson. Wright Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
