He had been ill only a short while. A member of High Street Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Caleb and Betty* Ann Story of this county. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Carrie Glover Story; two sons, H.L. Story and Clarence Story, also of Franklin; one grandchild; and two brothers, Cleveland Story of Handsom and Herman Story of Emporia. Final rites for Mr. Story were conducted in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland & Sons on Friday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock by Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, pastor of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Interment was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The pallbearers were I.B. Gerald, Churchill Glover, Emmett Glover, Lloyd Johnson, William Presson, J.H. Scott and Allen Story. Ivory E.
