Elliot Story, USA. The body remains at the funeral home of W.J.M. Holland and Sons. ****************************************************************************** JOHN OTIS STORY John Otis Story, 55*, a resident of Franklin for the past four years, died at his home on Hill Street on Tuesday afternoon, April 3, after several weeks of ill health. Mr. Story was the husband of Mrs. Nancy Harcum Story, and the son of the late Rufus and Mrs. Ella Turner Story* of Southampton County. He was a member of the Mt. Horeb Methodist Church. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Misses Inez and Shirley Mae Story, both of Franklin; two sons, Reuben Story of Franklin and Pfc. Elliott Story, AUS, stationed in Japan; one grandchild; two brothers, Emmett L. and Eugene T. Story, both of Handsom; and two sisters, Mrs. P.B. Joyner of Franklin and Mrs. Allan Story of Petersburg. The body will be taken at 1:30 o’clock this afternoon to Mt. Horeb Church, where at 2:30 the funeral will be conducted by Rev. R.B. Moore. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery, with the following acting as pallbearers: De Bordenave Blythe, Ellis Joyner, George Joyner, Jack Story, Joyner Story, and J.J. Wood.
