All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ JOHN HENRY STORY John Henry Story, 69, years old, died at his home here Wednesday of heart trouble, after a long illness following a paralytic stroke two years ago. Mr. Story, who lived his entire life in this county, is survived by his wife, Lena Whitley Story; two daughters, Mrs. W.G. Warren of Wakefield and Mrs. J.T. Harrup; two sons, Percy Story of Prince George County and Henry Story of Sebrell; eleven grandchildren; three brothers, William and Thomas Story of Newsoms and Tula Story of Boykins; two sisters, Mrs. William Cutchins and Mrs. C.L. Vick of Newsoms. Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the grave in the old burying ground about four miles from Sebrell. Rev. Floyd Davis of the Courtland Baptist Church conducted the services. The pallbearers were George Story, Tom Cutchins, W.L. Everett, Luther Vick, Harvey Story and James Cutchins.
