Story, Sr., died at the residence in Newsoms on Thursday night, February 19, after an illness of several months. A member of the Newsoms Baptist Church, Mrs. Story was the daughter of the late Charlie and Missouri Vick Holloman of this county. She is survived by one son, James T. Story, Jr. of Newsoms; five daughters, Mrs. M.B. Drewry and Mrs. Malcolm Coleman of Boykins, Mrs. Eppa B. Prince, Jr., Newsoms, Mrs. Thomas F. Icard of Gainesville, Fla. and Miss Kathryn Story of Newsoms; and one sister, Mrs. Herbert Bryant of Driver. Funeral services were conducted at the graveside in Newsoms cemetery on Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock by Revs. R.L. Chadwick and O.L. Gochenour. Pallbearers were B.L. Bunn, J.C. Bunn, Ray Bunn, G.R. Fowler, Dr. J.J. Grizzard, Dr. B.A. Pope, Jr., R.B. Story, Jr., and John Q. Worrell. Lillie Ann (HOLLOMAN; Mrs. James T.
