Story, died in Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, on Sunday night, February 27, after an illness of several weeks. The deceased was a daughter of the late Fletcher and Nannie East* Story of this county. She was a member of the Roanoke Rapids, N.C. Methodist Church. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Floyd Wall, Jr., of Franklin; one son Clarence Ollie King of Franklin; three grandchildren; two brothers, Allen H. Story of Franklin and Bennie E. Story of Handsom; and two sisters, Mrs. W.C. Hand and Mrs. W.H. Presson, both of Franklin. Services for Mrs. Story were held from the chapel of W.J.M. Holland and Sons on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, with Rev. Ira D. Hudgins, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Calvin Francis, Vernon Francis, William Francis, John Hand, Robert Hand, Randall Ricks, Joe Story and W.P. Story. Lucy (STORY KING; Mrs. Herman L.)
