Story, 69, died Friday night in Obici Hospital, Suffolk, after a short illness. She was the wife of Allen H. Story and the daughter of the late Rufus and Ella Story of Southampton County. She was a member of Mt. Horeb Methodist Church. Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Helen Francis Story of Handsom; five sons, Thomas A. Story of Hopewell, Frank Story of Franklin and Bernie, Howard, and Earnest Story of Handsom; two brothers, Eugene Story and Emmett Story of Franklin; one sister, Mrs. Burgess Joyner of Franklin; fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the Holland Funeral Chapel Sunday at 4:30 p.m. by the Rev. Thomas F. Mabe, pastor of Sycamore Baptist Church. Burial was made in Mt. Horeb Church cemetery. Pallbearers were Pat Cotton, Emmett Drake, Russell Cotton, Robert Earl Johnson, J.C. Johnson, Jr., Burtenelle Johnson, James E. Eason and Walter Bishop.
