Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. C.O. Thomas of Buckroe Beach Baptist Church. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland. Pallbearers were James Duffey, Bobby Brodgen, Aggie Joyner, Ernest Cutchins, Willie Cutchins, and Councill Story. Mrs. Story, 79*, a native of Southampton County, died in Dixie Hospital, Sunday morning. She was the widow of Dellie Thomas Story and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Miles of Southampton County. She was a Methodist. Surviving are a son, H.T. (Pete) Story of Jarratt; a daughter, Mrs. Milton Myers of Hampton; a brother, Purvis Miles of Woodland, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Lizzie Branch (MILES; Mrs. "Dellie" T.)
