A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Elliott L. Story of Franklin and a daughter of Lewis M. and Mrs. Annie Alnier Curdts of Norfolk. She was a member of High Street Methodist Church in Franklin. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. D.B. Owens, Jr. of Norfolk; a son, Elliot L. Story, Jr. of Mesa, Ariz.; and five grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted today, Thursday, at 2:30 p.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin by the Rev. Gilliam C. Bentley of High Street Methodist Church. Active pallbearers will be S.W. Rawls, Jr., Robert C. Ray, John E. Ray, 3rd, Franklin Edwards, Frank Story Cutchin, R. Ashby Rawls, and Albert Beamon of Norfolk.
