Story, wife of John H. Story, died at her home near Sebrell, Va. Friday, July 18. Mrs. Story was an invalid for nine years through which she bore her sufferings with Christian fortitude. She is survived by her husband, three sons and two daughters. The burial services were read at the grave by B.F. Briggs. There were many pretty floral offerings. The active pallbearers were her six brothers, John W., J.L., H.L., G.C., W.B., and Emmette Babb; honorary: C.E. Vick, W.M. Cutchin, W.C. Story, P.L. Story, L.C. Cutchin, W.T. Norris, E.L. Story (Southampton Co., VA MB6:252) John & Margaret appear in the 1910 Census in Berlin & Ivor Dist., So.Co. - sheet 3B, household 42; John, a farmer, Owned Mortgaged Farm #12. John 2m. 19 Dec 1918 Lena May Whitley, dt/o G.L. and M.J. Whitley. (So.Co. MB17:326) John & Lena appear in the 1920 Census on the "National Highway" in Sebrell Village [struck- "not incorporated"], Jerusalem Dist., So.Co.; John was then a travelling salesman. John & Maggie's son Lee's D.Cert. (#13372 {B&I #13}) gives b. 12 Oct 1883, "Sowthampton Co"; d. 26 Apr 1916, of Hook Worms; bu. Southampton Co., 27 Apr 1916.
