He was the husband of Mrs. Sallie Futrell Story and the son of the late Jesse and Rebecca Gray Story. A prosperous farmer, he was a member of the Newsoms Methodist Church. Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Miss Florrie Rebecca Story, Mrs. Bessie Story Newsoms and Mrs. Blannie Story Tucker, all of Newsoms; two sons, Aubrey T. Story of Newsoms and Willie Story of Portsmouth; one sister, Mrs. Rosa Bryant of Boykins; and four grandchildren; [...*]ton Story of Newsoms and [...*] Carroll and W.A. Story, Jr., of Portsmouth. Last rites for Mr. Story were conducted in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland & Sons on Thursday afternoon a 3 o'clock by Rev. R.B. Moore, pastor of the Newsoms Methodist Church. Burial was in the Newsoms Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Butler, Sylvester Drake, Willie Drake, Edward Story, Jesse Story, Sr., Currie Lee Vick, Dellie Vick and Henry Whitaker. There is a line running through the print at the top and middle of many of the papers and it effected many of the obits. I've put elipses for the part that's missing.
