Mrs. Stuart was the daughter of the late W.M. and Sarah Elizabeth Ricks and was 50 years of age at the time of her death. Funeral services were held last Saturday in the Purviance Funeral Home in Boykins at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. A.W. Coates of Drewryville officiating. Music was furnished by the Hebron Church choir and interment was made in the Hebron cemetery. Mrs. Stuart is survived by her husband, D.D. Stuart of Portlock; two sons, Russell and Elwood Stuart of Portlock; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Murden and Mrs. Ura Lee Pettigrew, both of Portlock, and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Emmett Worrell and Mrs. P.A. Sadley of Petersburg; Mrs. R.C. Johnson of Richmond; G.C. Ricks of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; D.C. Ricks of Capron; R.E. Ricks of Boykins and W.M. Ricks of Burlington, N.C. Pallbearers were: R.E. Ricks, D.C. Ricks, G.C. Ricks, Richard Ricks, Jr., Franklin Ricks and W.W. Pettigrew. Elizabeth "Betsy" (RICKS; Mrs. David D.)
