DOROTHY ANN SMITH 

   BOYKINS - A funeral service for Miss Dorothy Ann Smith was conducted at 3 
p.m. Sunday in McDowell Funeral Home by the Rev. Roy A. Arnold and the Rev. 
Daniel K. Ivey. Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery. 

   Pallbearers were Fred Pearson, Jimmy Tucker, Ben Owens, Bert Ramsey, James 
Turner, William Rawlings, Earnest Rawlings and Herbert Rawlings. 

   Miss Smith, 39, died Friday at 9:30 a.m. in her home. 

   A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of Mrs. Ethel R. Smith 
and the late Rubin C. Smith. 

   She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. 

   Besides her mother, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. J. Gordon Lewis 
and Mrs. S. Russell Lewis of Stoney Creek and Mrs. Wallace J. Winslow of 
Suffolk; and a brother, R.C. Smith Jr. of Boykins.
