ERCELLE I. BARHAM SMITH 

Ercelle I. Smith, age 88, widow of W.R. Smith, Sr., died March 14, 1979. 
She was a retired employee of the Virginia State Highway Department.  She 
is survived by on son, W.R. Smith, Jr. of Boston, Mass.; several nieces 
and nephews.  Graveside services will be conducted 2 P.M. Friday at Capron 
Cemetery.  Family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 P.M. at the 
Echols Funeral Home, Emporia, Va.
