LEWIS BURTON SMITH

   After an illness of a few days, Lewis Burton Smith, the infant son of Mr. and 
Mrs. B.A. Smith, died Wednesday morning at the age of fourteen months. From the 
beginning of its illness, it seemed to grow weaker, responding very little to 
any means used for its recovery, when Monday it developed pneumonia which soon 
resulted in death. The burial took place in the family cemetery. Many beautiful 
flowers were put on the grave. The services were conducted by Rev. J.L. Carrick 
at the grave.
