Ricks, after an illness of 10 days. Burial was in Thomas Memorial Cemetery, Drewryville, with funeral services conducted by the Rev. A.W. Coates, assisted by the Rev. H.F. Hamilton of High Hills Baptist Church, Jarratt. In 1870 she married Christian C. Snidow and lived for many years at Pembroke, later living for eight years in Farmville. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. D.C. Ricks, Jarratt, and two sons, Henley F. and William E. Snidow, Winding Gulf, W.Va.; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs.. B.F.
