VIRGINIA IVEY SMITH

Mrs. Virginia Ivey Smith, widow of Dr. Hugh C. Smith, died in Huntington, 
W.Va., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will H. Daniel Saturday at 9 P.M. 
Funeral services will be held at Thomas Memorial Church at Drewryville, Va., 
11 A.M. Tuesday, September 15th.  Besides her daughter she is survived by 
several grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

VIRGINIA IVEY SMITH

Word was received in Richmond yesterday of the death Saturday in Huntington, 
W.Va., of Mrs. Virginia Ivey Smith, widow of Dr. Hugh C. Smith, formerly a 
prominent minister of the Baptist Church.  She was the daughter of Cato and 
Delia Beekman Ivey, of Southampton County.  Funeral services will be held at 
11 A.M. Tuesday at the Thomas Memorial Church in Drewryville.
