Holland & Sons Home by the Rev. Lloyd Smith. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Marvin Butler, G.C. Duck, James L. Daughtrey, James H. Ivey, Leon O’Clair, Robert E. Johnson, J.L. Honeycutt and J.J. Bradshaw Jr. Mrs. Smith, 68, died Saturday in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Beaufort County, N.C., she was a daughter of Presson and Mrs. Mammie Elizabeth Taylor Pryor and the widow of Irby Smith. She was a Methodist. She is survived by three sons, Rupert D. Smith of Franklin, Leonard O. Smith of Suffolk and Irby A. Smith of Austell, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. Violet Ivey and Mrs. Elnora Hedgepeth of Suffolk, and Mrs. Madeline Bradshaw of Franklin; and 13 grandchildren. Wilfred Augusta (PRYOR; Mrs. Irby D.)
