MARTHA ROSE SHANDS

Martha Rose Shands, the youngest child of ex-Senator and Mrs. William Shands, 
died at her home in this place Monday morning.  She was in her ninth year. 
Her illness was of short duration, and her untimely death was a shock to her 
family and friends.  Yesterday afternoon she was laid to rest in Riverside 
Cemetery by the side of her illustrious grandfather, General William B. Shands.
