LT. CMDR. CHARLES A. SNYDER

   FRANKLIN - Retired Navy Lt. Cmdr. Charles A. Snyder, 63, died April 28, in 
Bath County.

   Lt. Cmdr. Snyder, a native of Sunbury, Pa., retired from the Navy Corp. as 
a fire marshal.  He was a member of Hunterdale Ruritan Club and Americus Hose 
Co.  He was a past president of the Bronco Rod and Gun Club.

   Survivors include his wife, Ann Daly Snyder; six daughters, Patricia A. 
Adams of Springfield, Sharon A. Jillson of South Havan, Mich., Marianne Turner, 
Leslie Pearce, Christine Joyner and Sarah A. Snyder, all of Franklin; two 
sons, Charles A. Snyder II of Millboro, and Matthew A. Snyder of Franklin; 
a brother, David Snyder of Franklin; a brother, David Snyder of Sunbury; and 
13 grandchildren.

   The funeral was conducted Friday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Eugene 
Teslovic.  Buried was in Southampton Memorial Park.

   Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, American 
Diabetes Association of St. Jude’s Catholic Church Building Fund.
