CLARENCE ALTON SAUNDERS

   Suffolk - A funeral service for Clarence Alton Saunders, 75, was held 
Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Holland-Rideout Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Cliff Smith. 
Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park, Franklin.

   He died Monday in Norfolk General Hospital.

   Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Bunn Saunders Milter of 
Winter Haven, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Ellis of Newsoms and Mrs. Ellen 
Bryant of Suffolk; two brothers, Richard Saunders and Stanley Saunders of 
Norfolk; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

   Memorial donation may be made to the Holy Neck Church building fund.
