Roy A. Arnold. Burial was in Drewryville Cemetery with W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, in charge. Pallbearers were R.D. Claud, Owen Johnson, Norfleet Grizzard, Jack Covington, E.O. Murphy, Sam Pope, Bruce Flowers Jr., P.J. Maddox. Mrs. Simmons, 78, died Monday morning from the results of an automobile accident. A native of Southampton County, Mrs. Simmons was a daughter of Robert W. and Mrs. Ximena Person Claud. She was a member of Drewryville United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Wallace Simmons of Chester and Maurice Simmons of Sedley; two sisters, Mrs. Erma Claud Price of Lambertville, N.J. and Miss Robbie Lee Claud of Drewryville; and two grandchildren.
