O. Simmons, who died at her home in Sebrell Saturday after a long illness, were held at the grave in Sebrell Cemetery Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock by the Rev. S.W. Wilkinson of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Simmons was the daughter of the late W. Eldridge and Mrs. Mary Jane Hancock Kitchen of Southampton County and was a lifelong resident of this county. She was a member of Sebrell M.E. Church. Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Misses Alice May, Joyce and Jean Simmons; two sons Thomas and Alfred Simmons, all of Sebrell; two sisters, Miss Lillie Kitchen of Raleigh, and Mrs. W.W.
