She was the widow of Joseph Samuel Simmons and a member of Sebrell United Methodist Church. She is a native of Northampton N.C. Among the survivors is a daughter, Virginia S. Brooks of Carson City, Mich.; two sons, Mr. J.P. Simmons of Courtland, Wallace S. Simmons of Franklin; three sisters, Beatrice D. Simmons of Boykins, Mrs. Emma D. Vick of Branchville, Mrs. Mae D. Schulz of Leesburg, Va.; three brothers, Otis E. Davis and Collis L. Davis of Branchville, and J. Tom Davis, of Boykins; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 A.M. in Sebrell United Methodist Church by the Rev. Whitaker W. Shelton. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland. The family asks that memorials be made in the form of donations to the Sebrell United Methodist Church. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, in charge of arrangements. Nettie Bunch (DAVIS; Mrs. Joseph S.)
