She was a student at Waverly Junior High School and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Scarborough of Waverly. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Carolyn A. Gwaltney and Mrs. Linda S. Turner; a brother, Robert O. Scarborough, all of Waverly; maternal grandmother Mrs. Virginia K. House of Emporia; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Scarborough of Capron. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 30th, at 2:30 at the gravesite in Capron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Waverly Rescue Squad.
