Survived by his wife Mrs. Maggie Worrell Scarborough; four daughters, Mrs. Katherine S. Dickerson of Richmond, Mrs. Viola Rebrick of West Point, Mrs. Sarah S. Harvell of Petersburg, Mrs. Loretta Prestridge of Lubrick, Texas; four sons, Benjamin F. Scarborough of Belton, Missouri, William R. Scarborough of Waverly, E. Horace Scarborough, Rose City, Mich, Willie P. Scarborough of Franklin, Va.; five sisters, Mrs. Pearl S. Williamson, Petersburg, Mrs. Ruth Pope of Capron, Mrs. Sallie S. Hoffman, Colonial Heights, Mrs. Doris S. Blose of Hampton, Mrs. Martha S. Dickerson, Waverly; one brother, J.G. Scarborough of Capron; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Graveside services 3 P.M. Friday, Capron Cemetery. Remains rest at Echols Funeral Home, Emporia. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the Capron Rescue Squad or church of your choice.
