REV. PAUL LEONARD SCHWARTZ

   Rev. Paul Leonard Schwartz, 69, of Courtland, died Saturday morning, 
March 18, 1978 in Southampton Memorial Hospital.  A native of Pennsylvania, 
he had made his home in Emporia and Courtland for a number of years.  He was 
a retired Episcopal Priest having served as Chaplin of Southampton 
Correctional Center and serving and retiring from St. Luke's Episcopal Church 
in Courtland.  He is the son of Mrs. Birdell Skiles Schwartz and the late Dr. 
Adam C. Schwartz.  A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in St. 
Luke's Episcopal Church by Bishop Rose.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. 
Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is handling arrangements.
