All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ HARRY HINTON SCHRAMM** Harry Hinton Schramm, 58, a farmer residing in Nansemond County, died Monday morning, February 13, in Raiford Memorial Hospital.* He was the son of the late Armenious Gayhardt and Lulie Crumpler Schramm of Southampton County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Cotton Schramm of Suffolk RFD 4; two daughters, Mrs. W.C. Bailey, Jr., of Newport News and Miss Eunice Gayhardt Schramm of Suffolk RFD 4; and one granddaughter, Miss Carolyn Bailey. Funeral services for Mr. Schramm were conducted Wednesday afternoon at three o’clock at the Sycamore Baptist Church by the pastor, Rev. L.M. Kanipe, assisted by Revs. R.D. Stephenson and N.G. Newman. Interment was in the Sycamore Cemetery, active pallbearers being Claude Edwards, Russell Cotton, Earl Edmonds, Ryland Edwards, William Baker, Lawrence Eley, Presley Eley and Irving Lankford. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Dr. I.W. Johnson Bible class of Oakland Christian Church and friends of the family.
