Thompson, died December 28, 1973. Survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Clara Gillette of Franklin and Mrs. Rebecca Delbridge of Emporia; two step-sons, Elmer Thompson, San Diego, Calif., and Dana Thompson of O’Brien, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Griffin of Capron, and Mrs. Willie Whitehurst of Chesapeake; two brothers, Thomas Pope of Richmond and Joseph of Chesapeake; eight step-grandchildren. Remains rest at Echols Funeral Home, Emporia, where funeral services will be conducted 2 P.M. Saturday with interment in Capron Cemetery.
