Moore in Fourth Avenue, were held Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the home. Rev. R.D. Stephenson, pastor of the Franklin Baptist Church, conducted the services, assisted by Rev. Roscoe Jones pastor of High Street M.E. Church. Surviving her are four nieces and three nephews; Mrs. E.V. Moore of Franklin, Mrs. R.S. Thompson of Petersburg, Mrs. D.E. Thompson of Norfolk and Mrs. Z.F. Crutchfield of South Hill, Va.; Guthrie Rivers of Warren Plains, N.C., Gilbert Rivers of Winston-Salem, N.C. and Ervin Rivers of Norfolk. There were many floral offerings; the casket being covered with a pall of gladioli and fern. The choir sang "Abide With Me" and "Shall We Gather at the River." Interment was made in Poplar Spring Cemetery, the pallbearers being: Fred Edwards, G.M. Gardner, C.F. Whitfield, L.B. Holland, Philip Harcum and Guy Harcum.
