Besides her husband, C.C. Thorpe, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Josie Ferguson; four children, Carl, James Roy, Kathrine and Pearl; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Whitfield and Mrs. Eula Griffin, and a brother, Roy Ferguson, all of Newsoms. Funeral services were conducted by her Pastor, Rev. L.E. Dailey Friday afternoon from her late residence and burial was made in the Newsoms Cemetery. Active pallbearers were P.G. Ferguson, P.S.
