PAUL FRANKLIN TRAYLOR

   Paul Franklin Traylor, 75, retired from Seaboard Air Line Railroad, died 
Tuesday in a Charlottesville hospital after a long illness.

   He was a son of Benjamin F. and Mrs. Susie Britton Traylor of Norlina, 
N.C.  He was born in Norlina.

   He was a member of High Street Methodist Church and Norlina Masonic Lodge.

   Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred T. Cobb of Franklin; three sons, 
Julian Traylor of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and T.R. Traylor and Leonhardt 
Traylor of Jacksonville, Fla.; four brothers, Watts Traylor and Brady Traylor 
of Rich Square, N.C., Clyde Traylor of Richmond and Raby Traylor of Norlina; 
10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

   The body was taken to W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home.  A funeral 
service was held Thursday at 4 p.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. 
Robert E. Fridley of High Street Methodist Church.

   Pallbearers were Walter Bradshaw, Fred Rabil, Raymond Cobb, James Cobb and 
W.T. Atkinson.
