McPherson, in Roanoke Tuesday morning. She was the wife of George William Turner of Southampton County. A lifelong resident of Southampton County, she moved to Roanoke two years ago to live with her daughter. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Besides Mrs. McPherson, surviving are two sons, Percy B. Turner of Emporia and Vernon L. Turner of Roanoke, two grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. The body was taken from W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home to Hebron Baptist Church today (Thursday) at 11 a.m. for a funeral service at 1 p.m. by the Rev. D.J. Thompson, pastor; the Rev. William S. Ferguson, pastor of Monumental Methodist Church, Emporia; and the Rev. William W. Stennett, pastor of Suitland Baptist Church, Suitland, Md. Burial was in Capron Cemetery. Pallbearers were Otis Davis, Gordon Grizzard, Amos Pope, Arthur Mattox, G.H. Clary and W.J. Harrell. Anna Lucy (BARDEN; Mrs. George W.
