Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins of Franklin Baptist Church. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Mrs. Turner, 83, died Tuesday afternoon in Patrick Henry Hospital, Denbeigh, after a long illness. A native of Surry County, she was the widow of Charles T. Turner of Franklin and a daughter of William Peyton and Mrs. Rebecca Thompson Kea. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, F. Peyton Turner of Franklin; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret T. Alexander of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Janet T. Council, Mrs. Marion T. Eubanks, and Mrs. Anna T. Rader of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Lil K. Barlow of Smithfield and Mrs. Ella K. Thompson of Newport News; a brother, Paul H. Kea of Hyattsville, Md.; 14 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
