A lifelong resident of Southampton County, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Junius Turner. Funeral services were held on Sunday at 3 PM at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. L.E. Holzbach. Burial was in the family cemetery. D.Cert. 7260 (B&I #3) gives b. 24 Oct 1883 - year & age altered; son of Junius and Alice (LOWE) TURNER; buried in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. Junious W. TURNER, 29, son of Levi W. & Martha (ENGLISH) TURNER, farmer, Aurelia A.M. LOWE, daughter of John J. & Louisa (BRITT) LOWE, m. 8 Jan 1882. (Southampton Co. MB4:422) Miles J. TURNER, b. Nov 1883, farm laborer, appears with his widowed mother in the 1900 Census - Berlin & Ivor Dist., Southampton Co. - on Farm #176. "Shelley" TURNER, age 35, farm laborer, appears with his widowed mother in the 1920 Census - Berlin & Ivor Dist., Southampton Co. - on the Zuni-Unity Rd. His mother d. 21 Dec 1932 and was buried in Southampton Co.
