JAMES MONROE TURNER

   Norfolk - James Monroe Turner, 79, of 427 Massachusetts Ave., husband of Mrs. 
Elsie Roberts Turner, died Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in a Norfolk hospital.

   A native of Southampton County, he lived in Norfolk 35 years. He was a son of 
Levi and Mrs. Sarah C. Turner.

   He was a member of the Baptist Church and Purdie Masonic Lodge 170 of Windsor.

TURNER, JAMES MONROE - At a local hospital Tuesday, June 13, 1961 at 6:30 p.m. 
James Monroe Turner, husband of Mrs. Elsie Roberts Turner in the 80th year of 
his age. Funeral services will be conducted at the Ewell and Wiliamson Funeral 
Home Thursday Afternoon, June 15, 1961 at 3 o’clock. Friends of the family are 
invited to attend. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
