All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ MARVIN GLENN TURNER Marvin Glenn Turner, nine months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Turner of Branchville, was found dead in bed on the morning of Thursday, November 22, having been accidentally suffocated by the bed clothes. Besides his parents he is survived by one sister, Brenda Jean; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Turner of Branchville; and the maternal grandparents, Mrs. And Mrs. W.H. Price of Gumberry, N.C. Funeral services were conducted at the grave in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, on Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock by Rev. N.B. Habel. The flower bearers were Mrs. Floyd Price and Mrs. William Price; and the pallbearers were Elmore Price, Floyd Price, William Price and Reuben Turner. The casket was covered by a pall of pink roses, white carnations and baby’s breath.
