He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Susie Beale Turner; a brother, Harvey Turner, and a sister, Mrs. Lorenzo Drake of Sedley; four daughters, Shirley, Surretta, Jane and Fern. Services were held December 24 at 3 o’clock at Black Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. J.R. Stein of the Sedley Friends Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were: J.M. Johnson, Crawley Edwards, Lorenzo Drake, Bennie Blythe, R.R. Lankford, Eddie Simms and R.J. Councill.
