RALGIE TURNER

   Ralgie Turner, son of the late Pierce and Sallie Turner of Southampton, 
died Sunday morning at his home near Franklin in his 66th year.  He is 
survived by his wife, Mrs. Susie Turner; one daughter, Mrs. L.O. Drake; 
two sons, Harvey and Paul Turner, all of Southampton County.  Funeral 
services were held at Black Creek Church Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock 
by the Rev. R.P. Welch.

   The pallbearers were: R.B. Scott, Jim Scott, L.O. Drake, T.J. Blythe, 
Jim Lankford, Ollie Lankford, John Womble and Elvin Whitley.  Interment 
was made in the church cemetery.
