Umphlette, 48, Buried April 19 In Chuckatuck Cem. J. Sidney Umphlette, 48, farmer, died enroute to the Obici Hospital Sunday, April 17, 1960, after heart attack at his home near Zuni. A lifelong resident of Zuni, he was a son of Mrs. Lizzie L. Umphlette and the late Lonnie R. Umphlette. He was a deacon of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church and a charter member of the Zuni Ruritan Club. Surviving besides his mother are his wife, Mrs. Eunice M. Umphlette; three daughters, Mrs. Marion Neighbors of Windsor, Miss Kathleen Umphlette and Miss Sharon Umphlette of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Eugene Rhodes of Windsor and Mrs. J. Martin of Williamsburg; four brothers, J. Louis Umphlette, Lonnie R. Umphlette and Ulysses Umphlette of Zuni and Gordon Umphlette of Garnersville, N.Y. The body was taken to the Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield. A funeral service was held Tuesday, April 19, at 3 P.M. in the Tucker Swamp Baptist Church by Rev. J.W. Horne Jr., pastor, with burial in the Chuckatuck Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** JOSEPH SIDNEY UMPHLETTE ZUNI - J.
