Holland & Sons on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. The Rev. Roderick Jackson, rector of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Portsmouth, of which the deceased was a member, officiated at the funeral and at the burial in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland. Active pallbearers were T.Boise Bell, S.N. Cobb, W.B. Ellis, M.R. Joyner, Dr. E.F. Reese, Jr., Lewis T. Reese, J.W. Rollison and C.F. Urquhart, Jr. Mr. Urquhart, a retired lumberman, was born in Courtland on Jan. 12, 1881, son of the late Joseph and Margaret Ridley Urquhart. He had made his home in Portsmouth for the past 14 years. He was the husband of Mr. Eugenia Barnes Urquhart, who survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Eugenia U. Smith of Norfolk; one sister, Miss Frances R. Urquhart of Petersburg; and one brother, James B. Urquhart of Columbia, S.C. There is a line running through the print at the top and middle of many of the papers and it effected many of the obits. I've put elipses for the part that's missing.
