Urquhart, formerly of Southampton county, died on Saturday, March 9, 1901, at her home of her son, Mr. W.H. Urquhart, of Richmond, where she had been living for twelve years. Death resulted from congestion of the lungs, and resulted within half an hour from the time she was attacked. Deceased was seventy-four years of age. The burial took place on Monday last at "Oak Grove," the old family cemetery, near Ivor, Southampton county, and was largely attended. Among those present were Hon. John Goode, of Washington, D.C.; Dr. J.W. Lawson and Hon. T.N. Jones of Smithfield; Burges Urquhart, of Lewiston, N.C.; J.U. Goode, of Norfolk; Town Attorney J.U.
