All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ THOMAS RIDLEY URQUHART Thomas Ridley Urquhart, age 68, son of the late Joseph W. and Mrs. Margaret Ridley Urquhart of Southampton County died Wednesday, May 20, at his home in Norfolk. A native of this county Mr. Urquhart had been a resident of Norfolk for 23 years. He was engaged in the lumber business and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Funeral services were held at St. Luke's Church in Courtland Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. J. Sutherland-Watt, a former Rector. Interment was made in the family plot in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland. Active pallbearers were Dr. E.F. Reese, Dr. P.P. Causey, H.L. Land, C.G. Ridley, Tom Adkins and John Urquhart. Mr. Urquhart is survived by a sister, Miss Frances R. Urquhart of Washington; three brothers, James B. Urquhart of Columbia, S.C., C.F. Urquhart of Courtland and John Urquhart of Norfolk.
