A native of Battleboro, N.C., he lived in this area 27 years. He was a retired lumbermill operator and stock buyer. He was a member of Branchville Baptist Church. He was a son of Van Burton and Mrs. Renna Fountain Vick and the husband of Mrs. Mary Freeman Vick. Besides his widow, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gale Vick Bryan of Severn, N.C.; three brothers, Walter Thomas Vick and Levy Van Vick of Red Oak, N.C., and George Washington Vick of Rocky Mount, N.C.; and a sister, Mrs. Lillie Vick Taylor of Whittakers, N.C. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Branchville Baptist Church by the Rev. John D. O'Cain. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, with McDowell Funeral Home has charge. ****************************************************************************** BRANCHVILLE - A funeral service for Andrew Luther Vick was conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Branchville Baptist Church by the Rev.
